I’m sorry for my incessant breakfast posts but I just can’t help myself! It’s just too tasty. Also, it’s pretty cloudy this morning (much to our dismay!) so what better thing to do than write a food-related post! As I mentioned previously, I’ve been having oats soaked in milk with a variety of toppings for breakfast whilst on holiday, so I’ve come to the conclusion that what I’m concocting is in fact my own homemade type of muesli!
Today I made a delicious bowl of oats, banana, sliced Brazil nuts, and chopped dried apricots and medjool dates. It was so easy to put together and probably had a lot less sugar than a shop-bought muesli! I’m really obsessed with dates at the moment, they’re like sweet, gooey little fruits of caramelly heaven (yes, I’ve gone mad), so any opportunity to add them to my meals I will!
